Guy Meir, Classic guitar artist First prize winner at the International Guitar contest, Fiuggy, Italy.
Born in Israel in 1971, his musical career began at the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem under the guidance of his teacher Mrs. Irit Even-Tov. Meir conducted his army service at the Israeli Defense Forces Orchestra while studying at the Tel Aviv Music Academy under the supervision of Mr. Yehuda Schrayer where he graduated with honors with the title B.mus Magna Cum Laude.
Meir continued his education with Mr. Joseph Urshalmi and participated in
numerous workshops conducted by leading guitar artists. He also has won several
music contests both in Israel and abroad.
He furthered his musical education
in London with the renowned musician Maestro Professor Charles Remirez and
graduated with a master’s degree from the Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M).
